Shahbaz Gill shifted to PIMS hospital for medical examination

Shahbaz Gill, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has allegedly been admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital in Islamabad after experiencing respiratory problems, according to ARY News. Shahbaz Gill shifted to PIMS hospital for medical examination

Medical professionals from the fields of medicine, neurology, and cardiology would examine the PTI leader. According to PIMS sources, the PTI leader has respiratory problems.

According to sources, Shahbaz Gill was examined at Adyala Jail by a respiratory specialist. Gill would be examined by the medical staff at the hospital, and they would give the police the report thereafter.

If necessary, the COVID test for Shahbaz Gill will also be performed, according to hospital sources.

The Investigation Officer (IO) was instructed to present the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader's medical report in court by tomorrow morning by the Duty Magistrate hearing the sedition case against Shahbaz Gill.

Details indicate that by 9 am on August 18, the IO in the sedition case against the PTI Head's chief of staff was required to provide the PTI leader's medical report in court. The PTI leader must get a medical examination as soon as feasible, the court said.

After hearing arguments from both parties, additional session judge Zeba Chaudhry gave a reserved decision on Wednesday morning. The judge said, "Shahbaz Gill is turned over to Islamabad police for the next 48 hours."
