ISLAMABAD: According to ARY News on Monday, the ruling govt objection on Imran Khan's nomination from nine seats in the National Assembly (NA).
Details indicate that the candidates for the ruling coalition would object to Imran Khan's nomination papers for nine open National Assembly seats (NA).
Between August 17 and August 20, the candidates will submit their objections to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). There will be complaints made regarding Toshakhana and the hiding of financing.
According to sources, the complaints would also include the election watchdog's ruling in the PTI forbidden financing matter. They stated that the protests will be submitted in accordance with Article 62(1)(f) of the Constitution.
The work in this area has been finished by the legal advisors for the government allies and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
It is important to note that Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared his intention to run in by-elections on all nine of the seats that became vacant after the NA speaker accepted the resignation of PTI MNAs.
The nine National Assembly by-elections would take place on September 25 according to the ECP timetable.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) accepted the resignations of 11 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs on July 29. (ECP).
