Gold Price Falls by Rs4300 per Tola in Pakistan



KARACHI: According to ARY News, the local gold market on Monday saw a per tola price drop of Rs4300, mirroring the global market. Gold Price Falls by Rs4300 per Tola in Pakistan.

The price of precious yellow metal per tola declined by Rs. 4300 to Rs. 134,200, while the price of 10 grammes decreased by Rs. 3686 to Rs. 115,055, according to the All Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association.

Since August 10, the price of the precious metal has decreased by a total of Rs9,300 per tola.

On July 28, the price of gold reached an all-time high of Rs162,500 a tola.

By 1143 GMT, spot gold had dropped to $1,773.85 per ounce on the global market, marking its lowest level since August 8. The price of U.S. gold futures fell 1.5% to $1,789.00.

The U.S. dollar surged 0.6% as fresh, dismal Chinese data fueled concerns of a world recession.

Spot silver down 2.7% to $20.24 per ounce, platinum over 3% to $932.96, and palladium sank 2.1% to $2,174.76.
