Hamza Shahbaz is no longer the Chief Minister, the court ruled

Hamza Shahbaz's election as chief minister was revoked by the Lahore High Court, and as a result, he was not retained in that position.
Details indicate that a five-member panel led by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan in the Lahore High Court considered intra-court challenges against the decision to swear in Hamza Shahbaz.
In the courtroom were Punjab Advocate General Shehzad Shaukat, Additional Attorney General, Hamza Shahbaz's attorney Mansoor Usman Awan, PTI attorney Barrister Ali Zafar, Imtiaz Siddiqui, and Azhar Siddiqui Advocate.

Additionally present in the courtroom were PTI Sabtin Khan, Raja Basharat, League MPA Mirza Javed, and others.
On April 16, the Lahore High Court ruled on appeals against Hamza Shahbaz's taking of the oath of office and revoked his election as chief minister. The petitions against Hamza Shahbaz's oath were approved by the Lahore High Court after a four-to-one decision.
