Public transport will be closed across the country from tomorrow
Lahore: Owners of public transportation have threatened to stop operating their cars around the nation as of yesterday. According to them, public transportation need to be financed.
Ismatullah Niazi, chairman of the Public Transport Action Committee, reportedly stated that if our demands are not met, we will be compelled to take drastic steps.
He made it plain during a news conference in Lahore that all public transportation will be shut down starting tomorrow.
No public transportation would operate on the road after midnight today, according to him, and it will be shut down from Karachi to Gwadar and Torkham.
The rise in income tax with tokens is unacceptable, according to the chairman of the public transport action committee, and public transportation will remain shut down from Karachi to Gwadar and Torkham.
At the transporters' news conference, other transporters urged that the PDM government cease its severe harassment of the dealers.
The leaders declared that moving forward, PDM parties would not rent cars, instead advocating for fuel and diesel subsidies for public transportation.
