Elon Musk's Top Secrets to Success

The Top Success Secrets from Elon Musk

As one of the most prosperous businesspeople of the contemporary age. One of the biggest risk-takers in the corporate world, he is undoubtedly the most inspirational public figure of the twenty-first century.
He is in charge of revolutionising variety of things, including online payment methods, high-speed public transportation. Now the mission to colonise Mars.
Musk is the 23rd richest person in the world and is placed 25th on Forbes' list of the world's most powerful people.

Given the aforementioned information, it is clear that Musk spent lot of effort, time, and patience into starting several profitable businesses.
In order to help us live our best lives possible, we're going to discuss 3 life lessons that Elon Musk utilises, some of which are for productivity, some of which are for general living, and some of which are sort of meta.

Lesson 1: Achieving success does not guarantee a better quality of life.

Despite his enormous success, Elon frequently responds when questioned about his way of living that he wouldn't particularly advocate it to most people.

Which connects to Tim Urban's innovative idea known as "pixel theory."

Here, it is proposed that although life is a picture, we only exist as pixels.

In other words, when we think of someone as successful and wealthy, we tend to think of them in terms of the larger picture. Such as the fact that they are the richest person in the world, own all of the power, status, and notoriety.

But in that entire picture, these folks reside in a single pixel. If someone is content and contented in life and finds meaning in the things they own, it has less to do with the big picture of their existence.

And a lot more of it is about their journey and daily activities.

And if Elon is telling people that he won't endorse his way of life, we shouldn't leap to lionise it and believe that this is the ideal way to live.

Instead, we should pick out the key ideas that speak to us and that we can apply to our own lives. We shouldn't, however, attempt to adopt a person's entire life philosophy at once.

Lesson 2: Never Fear Failure

We are most often prevented from achieving our goals because we are terrified of failing.

We hesitate to apply for our ideal jobs out of concern that we won't succeed.

We also avoid approaching someone we like out of fear of being rejected.
Elon Musk has experienced failure before.

He had two rocket launches that failed badly, costing him in excess of $60 million.

But he came up with a fallback strategy.

One more time, they tried to make it work.

With Tesla and numerous other businesses he has invested in, Elon has seen repeated narrow escapes from catastrophe and financial ruin.

Although failure is limited and fear is common, your ability to persist in the face of failure is what makes you stand out.

Lesson 3: focus on only the important things

In essence, he is arguing that we should concentrate on the crucial 20% of actions that account for 80% of the results.

And this is merely a lesson we should always keep in mind. Are we working on the activities that are producing results?

Or are we performing activities that others perceive as work and that we perceive as work?

However, if we aren't enjoying ourselves along the road, that isn't really getting us the results we want.

The concept is that when we perceive labour as having to be difficult and painful, we tend to assume that things should be more difficult than they actually are.
