PTI Got Golden Number to Form the Government in Punjab
According to ARY News on Sunday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has obtained the necessary number of PA seats to form its own government in Punjab and replace PML-N Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz.
During the Punjab by-elections, PTI won the required number of seats in the provincial assembly. In the Punjab Assembly, the Imran Khan-led party would hold 187 seats as a result of its recent success in the by-elections.
Unofficial and unconfirmed results indicate that PTI won 16 PA seats, while the PML-N in power managed to win three seats and an independent candidate took home one.
Asad Umar, the secretary general of the PTI, earlier applauded Maryam Nawaz's words in which she accepted the results of the Punjab by-elections, which showed a resounding victory for PTI.
