According to sources, the federal government has instructed Mohsin Butt, the recently appointed Director-General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), to file a complaint against PTI and ARY. A written directive asking how PTI and ARY can be named in cases was sent to the DG.
According to sources for ARY News, the former DG FIA was under pressure from the government to file cases against PTI and ARY, but he refused, which resulted in his departure.
