Journalist Imran Riaz is suspected of being poisoned, Imran Khan

Lahore: The chairman of the PTI party raised concern about the possibility of poisoning renowned journalist and presenter Imran Riaz.

Imran Khan claimed in a statement sent to the social media platform Twitter that Imran Riaz was held at a facility where "civilised countries" wouldn't even hold an animal, that a well-known journalist was also perhaps poisoned, and that everyone involved should be embarrassed.

According to Imran Khan, such tactics don't instil fear in the public; instead, they fuel fury, which fuels anger toward lawbreakers and those who control them.

Noteworthy is the fact that Imran Riaz, a well-known anchor, was being offloaded from the plane by immigration officials when he landed at Lahore Airport today to fly to Dubai from Lahore.
