The greatest squash player in the sport's history is Jahangir Khan, a former No. 1 professional squash player from Pakistan. Jahangir, who was born on December 10th, 1963 in Karachi, is a native of Neway Kelay Payan in Peshawar.

He won the British Open a record ten times throughout his brilliant career, in addition to six times at the World Open. He was unbeaten in competitive competition from 1981 through 1986. He amassed the longest victory run of any athlete in a top-tier professional sport during that time, according to Guinness World Records, winning 555 matches in a row.

He stopped competing in squash in 1993 and presided over the World Squash Federation from 2002 to 2008.
