Iron Lady Of Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz 

 Maryam Nawaz Sharif is a Pakistani politician and the daughter of former Paistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. She is also the First Lady of Pakistan Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif.

In 2017, she was selected as one of the BBC's 100 Women.

                                     

In 2013, she made her political debut and was given control of Nawaz Sharif's campaign during that year's general election. She was chosen to lead the Prime Minister's Youth Program in the same year, but she resigned in 2014 after her appointment was contested in court in Lahore. She is frequently seen as her father's political heir.

                                       

The Pakistan Supreme Court arrested Maryam and her father in a corruption case in July 2017 after determining "significant" differences between their income and their wealth.
